A friend of mine recently went through loss and it got me thinking on the subject of loss and how we deal or don’t deal with it . Short term loss is easy . Most people can bear loss if there is an end in sight . A failed exam or a burst tire is something many of us have no problem getting over

But what about those things that leave you with a sense of loss for a lifetime ? Death  divorce , miscarriage , Infertility . How do we deal with them and most importantly how do we help our loved ones learn to live with it? Do we grieve with them for one day or a week then get tired of standing at the cross with them and so move on with our lives or do we grieve with them till they start to feel some semblance of sanity

I do not know what the answer is – but I would like to
